Short description: You`ll go across one of the longest suspension bridges of the world and walk the stunning Paiva Walkways trail! Visit one of the highlights of Portugal: Costa Nova, and Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice! Lunch is also a truly local AMAZING experience!

Departing from Porto, we travel to Arouca with a short stop for coffee and facilities before continuing to the adventure.
The experience begins at the Paiva Walkways with a highlight crossing of the iconic 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, stretching 516 meters across the valley and hanging 175 meters above the Paiva River.
Tickets are guaranteed and we have an EXCLUSIVE Time Slot!
We then continue along the 5 km Paiva Walkways trail (Areinho–Vau), descending along a scenic wooden boardwalk on the left bank of the river.
A traditional lunch follows, with fish and vegetarian options available.
In the afternoon, we visit the coastal village of Costa Nova, famous for its colorful striped houses, before continuing to Aveiro, the “Portuguese Venice.” Here you can explore the city center, enjoy free time, and optionally take a boat trip through the canals.
We return to Porto at the end of the day.

Costa, our guide was keen to get to know his group. He was warm and funny, knowledgeable and if he didn’t know the answer he’d try and find out when he could. Gave clear instruction and reminded people about meeting points and times. We really enjoyed the whole day. We’d have liked to have had more time in Costa Nova [return trip] and also done the whole Walkways but some of it was closed due to fire damage. Lunch venue was great, the staff there really welcoming and friendly. We’d do this activity again.

Przewodnik sprawił, że ta wycieczka była niezapomniana. Dbał o nasz komfort, odpowiadał na pytabia i bardzo ciekawie opowiadał o miastach, które odwiedzaliśmy. Do tego miał fantastyczne poczucie humoru i był cały czas uśmiechnięty.
Le contenu de la journée est super bien construit. Notre guide Joao était passionné et dévoué, il nous a donné beaucoup d’explications tout au long de la journée. Le transport était confortable, et le repas du midi parfait et délicieux. Le pont suspendu est très impressionnant et vaut la peine d’être vu et traversé. Nous recommandons fortement cette visite.

We had a great day in Aveiro and the walkways and bridge were stunning! Thanks to our driver and guide Ricardo we learned about the environment and he was really entertaining. It was a small group of 8 people so we did not have to wait long to go to the next stop.
Tomas was the greatest guide !!! Enjoyed his knowledge on all the history , great personality! Kind and made sure everyone had a good time Recommending 100%
Een super leuke dag, alleen maar genieten. Het is geweldig om de hoogste hangbrug van Europa te mogen bewandelen, de natuur en het uitzicht is adembenemd. Daarna de houten paden en trappen die langs de rivier zijn gebouwd bewandeld, ook een avontuur om te doen. De lunch in een lokaal restaurantje was heel lekker en de gids Thomas maakte de dag af, super enthousiast en we hebben echt veel van hem geleerd over de bewoners van deze prachtige streek. zeker een aanrader!
Der Ausflug war sehr gut organisiert und von einem sehr sympathischen Guide geleitet. Die Hightlights waren gut zusammengestellt und wir haben einen tollen Überblick über die Gegend südlich von Porto erhalten. Vielen Dank dafür!
Es war ein wunderschöner Tag. Ich kann diese Tour sehr empfehlen. Kleine einheimische Spots, Fahrten durchs Land, portugiesische Köstlichkeiten und die Hauptattraktionen sind unbeschreiblich. Man ist in einer kleinen Gruppe unterwegs, was das Ganze sehr ruhig, individuell und persönlicher macht. Wir haben viel gelacht, viel gesehen, viel erfahren und viel Spaß gehabt.

Świetnie zorganizowana wycieczka. Bardzo sympatyczny przewodnik Costa, z dużą wuedzą I ciekawostkami o zwiedzanych miejscah i Porto. Nie nudziliśmy się 😀 Do tego smaczny lunch z deserve, który był okazją do interactions z grupą.

A lot to pack in a day and excellent value for money.
The whole day was full with exciting new experiences to enjoy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The morning walk was lovely … the suspension bridge scary but exhilarating. The walk down the valley was beautiful, and all downhill. There are a lot of steps though and I felt like I was getting dizzy with them all but the views are worth it. Lunch was great and there was a lot of it. The trip to the seaside resort was lovely and the beach to die for. It is a real pity we did not get to stay longer here. The final destination, the little ‘Venice’ was also very charming. All in all, a very good day out!
Notre guide Thomas était très professionnels el. on a appris beaucoup de choses sur Porto, le Portugal, la vie des portugais, le porto, la fado… toutes les visites faites étaient très bien, le repas de midi aussi. Ne changez rien tout était parfait.

Het was een ontzettend leuke dag! Vanaf het eerste moment was het leuk. We hebben in de bus nog veel informatie gekregen en gewoon lekker gepraat. Costa is grappig en kan met veel passie over dingen vertellen. Hij zorgde er gelijk voor dat het ijs in de groep gebroken was en er een prettige sfeer was!
