After a convenient pick up at your hotel in Porto, we’ll discover Aveiro, the so called Venice of Portugal. I will help you to discover the city center on a short walk and you will enjoy some free time to discover on your own. As an option, you can relax on a boat trip to see the charming city through the canals! (reservation needed when booking)
We will spend around 1h30 minutes in Aveiro.
After Aveiro, we set off towards Óbidos. After 1h45 minutes, we will arrive to this beautiful medieval walled town. We will do a short walk on through the historical town and you will have free time for lunch.

From Óbidos to Lisbon, it takes around 1h20 minutes distance, depending on traffic. Drop off around 4:00PM.

What’s the transportation vehicles?
The transfers are made in comfortable minivans – Mercedes or VW
Can we decide the departure time?
Yes! Just let us know what is your preferred time to depart and we will confirm it to you.
Is there any baby seats/booster seats available?
Yes, and without any extra cost. But it depends on availability.
Can you eat/drink inside the van?
Only bottled water. No hot drinks or food allowed inside the van.
Can we suggest other places to stop along the way?
Yes, you can. We mention some places as examples, but you can suggest other places of your preference.

Norberto was flexible and accommodating as he picked us up in Porto and we requested specific sites including Coimbra, Conimbriga ruins, the aqueduct, Convent of Christ in Tomar, a quick stop at Nazare and drop off in Obidos. His tour was fun, educational, and surprisingly, it did not feel rushed. It was a full day, but Norberto made it fun and interesting. He was our favorite guide and we highly recommend him.

Great Tour from Lisbon To Porto
Norberto drove us six ladies from Lisbon to Porto with a full day tour along the way. He was a great tour guide, excellent company, and kept us all awake (while we fought off jetlag) with intelligent conversation about Portugal, Europe, Africa and beyond! He joined us for an authentic Portuguese lunch in Aveiro, and even organized a canal ride. Such a charming man. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
