A bestseller you don’t want to miss. An unforgettable day in the Douro, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. Wine and Port Wine tasting at 2 small wineries, with an authentic 3-course lunch included and a river cruise in a small boat.
Starting at 8:20 am, from Porto to the heart of the Douro, a scenic journey where we will cross the Vinho Verde wine region, while you will be dazzled by the unexpected landscapes of the North of Portugal and listen to the stories that characterize this magical region.
Upon arrival in the Douro Valley we will make a coffee and photo stop. While you are enjoying the panorama road along the Douro river it’s about time to get ready for the first winemaker.
We will visit a small winery of a renown port wine producer, where you will learn about all the secrets regarding the making of Port wine, explore this beautiful winery and see the stunning surrounding vineyards before you taste several delightful Port Wines.
Also in the morning you will go on a relaxing boat ride with breathtaking views so you can appreciate all the beauty of the Douro from the water.
Next, we will head to the second winery, a small producer located in a lovely country house with garden. There you will enjoy an amazing authentic – on open fire – home cooked Portuguese lunch by a local chef. This part of the experience is accompanied by a selection of Douro white and red wines, followed by another tasting of delicious premium Port wines of which you will want more.
Of course, we will also give you enough possibilities to take the best pictures and certainly take some for you.
Happy and satisfied after so many new impressions and meeting new friends, you will return to Porto, feeling like an expert of the region’s wines, history and culture. And willing to return soon.

The pick up time is at Av. dos Aliados, 266, at 8:30AM, and we set off towards the Douro Valley.
- Visit and wine tasting at a beautifully located winery;
- Lunch at a traditional restaurant with panoramic views. (fish or vegetarian options available).
- Drive along the National road 222 towards Pinhao;
- Visit to Pinhão village and join a 1h boat ride;
- Stop at an amazing viewpoint;
