A wonderful day!
This was a wonderful day, I booked it because it looked nice in the pictures and I have wanted to do something outside in nature, The experience exceeded all my expectations, we had a fabulous guide both knowledgeable and helpful, and the views were spectacular, ending the day in Aveiro was perfect and most enjoyable.
If warm weather, be sure to bring Sunblock, water, and wear comfortable clothing. The walkways are mostly in direct sun. Views are spectacular!
A great day out – don’t miss it.
Prompt pick-up from our hotel by Felipe who was funny, informative and untiring. The weather was bad, drizzle developing into rain, but Felipe produced waterproof ponchos for everyone for the walkways and footbridge. Due to mist, there wasn’t much to see during the drive, and there was a lot of driving, but Felipe said that the views were great in good weather. This was easy to believe as the roads wound through hills, woods and villages in between our destinations. The footbridge and walkways were the perfect way to see some beautiful landscape and the lunch at the end was very good. Aveiro was beautiful – don’t do the tour without taking in this town and surroundings. We got huge amounts of information from Felipe and the lovely lady on the canal boat – definitely the best tour we did on our trip to Porto.
Great trip! Well structured!
Filipe did a great job of informing us of the program and options that allowed each participant to do as much or as little as desired. Bridge was amazing and the 7K walk was beautiful. Our group of 8 all gelled and we had great conversations and lots of laughs!
Great tour!
This is a long day but well worth it. We’ll never forget walking across the Arouca views. I thought I’d be terrified but it’s very stable and I’m so happy I pushed forward. The walk down the mountain was a beautiful easy trek through nature. The included lunch was the best meal I had in Portugal hands down. Ricardo was an excellent and knowledgeable guide.
