The Arouca 516 suspension Bridge as strict rules about safety. There is a staff working there, controlling the tickets and making sure your experience goes as much safer as possible, although, crossing the bridge is not always guaranteed – it always depends on he weather conditions!
The bridge as sensors and alarms which will go off if the winds go above 40km/h. If that happens, no one is allowed to cross the bridge for safety reasons.
What happen if the bridge closes down? Two options:
- We will wait to see if the wind decreases. If so, we will go across the bridge.
- If crossing the bridge is really to possible at all on that day, you are entitled to receive the bridge ticket value. (refund of the bridge ticket)
NOTICE: Crossing the Suspension Bridge will always depends on he weather/winds conditions and Ennetours is not responsible for that decision. The tour will carry on and you will be refunded for the bridge ticket value.
